Price Update Policy

This explains exactly how a submitted price becomes part of the range shown on a product page.

1. Prices are submitted through a simple form

Every product page has a form where you can submit a price you paid, the date, and an optional note. No signup or login is required. Nothing is added to a product's price range without going through this form first.

2. Most submissions apply immediately

If a submitted price is within 10% of the product's current minimum or maximum, it applies right away and the displayed range updates on the spot. If it already falls inside the current range, it's simply recorded as an additional data point.

3. Unusual submissions are reviewed first

If a submitted price is more than 10% outside the current range, it's held for review rather than applied automatically — this protects the range from one-off outliers or mistaken entries. Reviewed submissions are checked and either approved or rejected.

4. "Last Updated" reflects the most recent applied price

The date shown at the top of every price page updates the moment a submission — whether applied instantly or after review — takes effect for that product.

5. Reviews follow a similar principle

Reviews are submitted through a form on each product or service page and checked before publishing, though they don't affect the price range itself.
